    Favorite Trail:sleeping bag's
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $1.00
    Purchased At:came on my bike
    Strengths:-Grip, there's heaps of it
-ease of fitmnt to rims, and removal
-It's folding, light and packs down well
-Soft compound, wears fast (who cares) but the grip is there.
Weaknesses:-Very weak side walls (both of mine are now useless with still 80% tread, due to tears in the rubber)
Bike Setup:Jamis Dakota XC 2005, with a complete Shimano XT group set, including wheels and dics brakes. Time pedals
Bottom Line:As I mentioned these tyres com standard on the bike, and they're great, until you puncture the side wall. So much grip, provides plenty of confidence into corners. Can 2 wheel powerslide no dramers, until you punctuire the side wall. I've giving them a rest for a while (because I've badly torn the sidewalls in more than 1 place on both tyres) and I got a set of Tioga Factory XC's for less than $25USD for the pair, while they're not a great tyre they were cheap.

For the record, if you're after grip, and get tryes on the cheap (like me) they're great. Infact they're better than great they're fantastic. Just rremember that you'll likley only get 30% out of these tyres before the sidewall punctures and that's what brings the rating down.

    Date Reviewed: June 15, 2006
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $30.00
    Purchased At:Blue Sky Cycling
    Strengths:Light, low rolling resistance
    Weaknesses:Very fast wear. Weak sidewalls.
Bottom Line:Rode this as a rear tire for about 10 rides and it's shot. No tread left, ripped sidewall. A poor choice for dry, rocky CO terrain.
