Strengths:i have the 20" set and they came with an awesome atomic laboratories decal that went around the front wheel, but i took it off to run front brakes..... shouldve kept it...
so looks are good... nipples hardly ever come loose and it always seems to stay straight. The tall side walls are good for any size break pad and leaves ample room to adjust.
Weaknesses:tall side walls allows huge dents... maybe it was my fault maybe it wasnt but they are everywhere. i usually ride between 40-50 psi for bmx street sessions and 35-40 for dirt jumping. these dents are even in the front! how did that happen? other than the dents... if you a real neat freak and like to clean every inch of your bike after a run (like me) these are a real hassle to clean on the inside... other than this they come in black.. and black rims arent as good for braking as chrome so i hear yet they still work pretty well
Similar Products Used:nothing with huge side walls like these.. but rhyno lites? and sun big city rims
Bike Setup:premium frame with atom lab stem and wheels, the other major parts are pretty much odyssey
Bottom Line:the dents are all at the top like tip top of the rim where the bead of the tire hooks up.. so you can still adjust the pads lower to avoid these indents.. and if you want a wheel that stays true with little almost NO truing then get these. these are nice to look at and stay strong even with them dents
