Description:These new Lexan pedals are incredibly strong. They are more impact resistant than aluminum and the new bearingless spindle design is so durable and smooth that they can be run without grease. 1 year warranty, not that you'll need it. By the way - Do NOT loosen the pedals! They are meant to be stiff.

$120.00 | | Purchased At: | Hazzard Cyclesports | | Strengths: | Bearingless design for super smooth rotation and troublefree performance, largest platform of any platform pedal I've used or seen, replaceable traction pins can be raised or lowered and are super-grippy, lighter than most metal platform pedals, and clear Lexan (bulletproof glass) just looks awesome! | | Weaknesses: | price...come on Atomic Labs, these are just a block of CNC'd Lexan with a metal spindle in it. Is $120 really neccessary? I was using Wellgo magnesium pedals from Supergo that cost $40 for the last year which were about the same weight but smaller platform and not quite as grippy. I'm still happy I got the Atomic Ballistic pedals for the overall performance increace and "cool" factor though. | | Similar Products Used: | Shimano platform ($100), Atomic Trailpimp ($80), Wellgo magnesium ($40), and those crappy plastic ones that come with $90 Costco bikes hehe. | | Bike Setup: | Specialized Enduro Expert w/Stratos Helix Pro 6" travel, Marzocchi Z1 MCR 5", King headset, Easton carbon bars, Easton magnesium DH stem, 6" XT hydro disc brakes, XT cranks, Atomic Ballistic pedals, XTR derailleurs, XT rapidfire shifters, Raceface bashguard, RhynoLite/XT hubs w/2.3" WTB kevlar Werewolf front and Motoraptor 2.1" rear tires (40% lighter than Maxxis, 1/3 less expensive, and still no flats after 2yrs!) | | Bottom Line: | These are great pedals, and anyone who says otherwise obviously abused theirs or had a distorted view of reality (such as thinking their pedals should always survive a cliff drop when they bail off). I've hopped an entire flight (10 feet) of stairs landing onto flat concrete (no downslope) and never damaged my pedals...just my jewels. Be realistic, nothing is indestructable. If you take care of your posessions they may not last forever but they will last alot longer than if you mistreat them. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$200.00 | | Purchased At: | velo pro | | Strengths: | Look cool | | Weaknesses: | Chip easily, spin really fast when you slip off them (which is a lot), and don't grip at all. | | Similar Products Used: | Nothing | | Bike Setup: | Cortina DH 8 with a manitou x-vert carbon, XTR, 2.7 high rollers, and some other stuff. | | Bottom Line: | These pedals can be decieving. The manufacturer advertizes them as indestructable, and who can resist a clear pedal. But, let me give you some advise. Don't be swayed. The pedals don't grip, and chip on every rock you hit them on. Plus, their really expensive. Save youre money. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$110.00 | | Strengths: | GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIP!!! | | Weaknesses: | CCRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAP!!! | | Similar Products Used: | NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNE!!! | | Bike Setup: | PPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRTS!!! | | Bottom Line: | The supposed unbreakable pedal broke my first ride when I clipped it on a rock. However, I'm afraid to return it (just the inside corner broke off so it is still rideable, but...) after reading the trailking reviews about how bad customer service is... do I want to be without pedals for 3 months? And they are way too $$$ Especially since I think I got ripped off - $210 CDN on sale? Shame on you Calgary C@y%e. By the way - they DO grip like nothing else - but buy the aircorp - same grip without the breakage (hopefully) And people... try to use your products for more than a day before you post some naively glowing review! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$76.00 | | Purchased At: | Spin Cycle | | Strengths: | NO BEARINGS!!! Atom lab normaly uses tiny bearings and they smash up very quickly, however, without bearings, nothing can go wrong! The Lexane is very trick. Huge, flat pedal with super grip. | | Weaknesses: | None yet. They make my shins hurt just looking at them. | | Similar Products Used: | Atom Lab air corps...(smashed up bearings) | | Bike Setup: | Spooky Pitboss (14") King headset, King discotech hubs w/ Azonic butcher rims, McMahon TI seatpost, Odyssey Flame dh seat, answer powerlite bars, Sram 9.0 half pipe shifter, Odi Rouge lock on grips, Nokian Tires, Profile cranks, MRP Chain guide, Hayes Hydroulic Brakes. | | Bottom Line: | If you want to own the trickest pair of Flat pedals in the world, these are for you! They not only look amazing, but Nothing can go wrong with them. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$120.00 | | Purchased At: | Go-Ride Bike Shop | | Strengths: | Everything! Looks killer, definitely a head-turner at the races. Bearingless design means that you can forget about maintenence, and never worry about blowing bearings again. I've done 15+ foot drops on these, and they haven't budged. The last set of pedals you will ever need. | | Weaknesses: | None. If anyone says any diferent, they're crazy. | | Similar Products Used: | Brooklyn Machine Works, Atomlab Trailkings | | Bike Setup: | Karpiel Apocolypse, Monster T's, Atomlab DH wheels, stem, and pedals. Profile SS DH cranks, Hope DH 4 brakes | | Bottom Line: | These are the best pedals ever. Go buy a pair and I guarantee you will never switch back, unless you're one of those stupid XC geeks. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
