$650.00 | | Purchased At: | leighs cycle centre | | Strengths: | very decent frame. great all round bike | | Weaknesses: | forks | | Similar Products Used: | one of a kind | | Bike Setup: | standard | | Bottom Line: | this bike is a great bike all around! it can handle big jumps but the forks are really bad quality. the tires are allright on a perfectly groomed surface but on off camber or hard pack or softpack they slip and slide all over the show. i would recomend this bike to all dirt jumpers or freeriders. with new forks and new tires the bike is a awsome ride! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$714.00 | | Purchased At: | Play It Again | | Strengths: | Handlebars, tires, hydraulic brakes, and bb. | | Weaknesses: | Cranks SUCK, wheels came with loose spokes, derailleur broke off, rear dropout chipped, making the wheel come off on the smallest tweak, brake levers bent, hard seat, low end forks, and a waste of my cash. | | Similar Products Used: | Kona Scrap, Kona Shred, Banshee Scream, and GT Compe. | | Bike Setup: | Single speed drive, chain tensioner, and that's about it. | | Bottom Line: | Good bike if you ride like a complete b-i-t-c-h. Frame chips easily. So I would recommend thespecialized p1, p2, or p3. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$715.00 | | Purchased At: | Play It Again | | Strengths: | Frame, Wheels, Hydraulic disc brakes, and Grips. | | Weaknesses: | Brake levers, Cranks(bent them on a wall ride bail), hard mutha f****** seat. | | Similar Products Used: | Gt Compe, Kona Scrap. | | Bike Setup: | Completely stock. | | Bottom Line: | If you like DJing, Downhill, and Urban, this is the right bike for you. It has hydraulic disc brakes so you will need to bleed them every now and then. Kenda Kinetics give you damn good grip on rough terrain. Good bike for beginner/intermediate riders. For a mtb, it isn't that heavy at all. Get this bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$575.00 | | Purchased At: | kisslers | | Strengths: | strong frame, good base to build from. the bike likes to go fast and is stable at speeds. sealed hubs and bottom bracket. when mostly stock it makes a good dirt jump or urban bike, however, i built mine for hardtail downhill racing. | | Weaknesses: | stock parts (fork, suntor duro) sucks. i broke it within about 2 months at syncline riding some downhill single track. i also busted the cranks within about 6 months and upgraded to the truvativ hussefelt. | | Similar Products Used: | chucker 2.0, sinister | | Bike Setup: | chucker 1.0 frame, marzocchi junior T fork, DMR hubs, Sram x9 short cage deralliur, sram x9 shifter, sram DH 9speed cassette, Avid Code 5 brakes w/ 203mm rotors front and rear, truvativ hussefelt cranks 38T chain ring, truvativ team bottom bracket, syncros alloy chainguide. | | Bottom Line: | Exelent starter bike. will go anywhere or do anything from urban to XC to downhill. its affordable and pretty much gives you anything you need in a hardtail mountain bike. overtime though, some of the stock parts will need to be replaced but thats to be expected from a bike like this at this price. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Rides well and a great first bike if you are getting into dh and dirt jumping. | | Weaknesses: | Crap rear derailleur, broke the hanger and arm and it got jammed in the spokes. Very average fork, not a smooth action and bottoms easily. | | Similar Products Used: | Kona stuff Mongoose atezza thingo Norco sasquatch | | Bike Setup: | Sram x7 rear. | | Bottom Line: | Good overall unit. Had it over 6 foot drops, no probs. Some of the cheaper components will let you down but you can always upgrade them later. Or better still buy a dually! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$500.00 | | Purchased At: | cycle experience, dorset, uk | | Strengths: | it is a strong durable bike, i have personally fell off a good 5-6 times and the forks, wheels and the frame are still as strong and straight as ever. the forks can sustain a lot of pressure if you land on your front wheels. | | Weaknesses: | i would say there are no major weaknesses but if i had to be picky, i would say the gears arent quite as precise and smooth changing as could be. but that is all. this is no biggy if you spend some time setting them up to your expected standards. | | Similar Products Used: | shogun, team saracen | | Bike Setup: | grip shift sram gears, rst forks, moto rapter tires, double disc high rim wheels, tektro mechanical front n back disc brakes | | Bottom Line: | An exellent trail/jumping bike for the rider who dosent want to dish out more than $500 and wants a bike that can tackle all terain! $699.00 | | Purchased At: | fulchers cyclery | | Strengths: | the frame is very strong, the SRAM 5.0 gears are user friendly, the tektro aquila brakes work like a charm, the suspension is solid, the bikes design is great because of great control at any speed on any surface, the MTB Raptor 2.4 tires are the best. | | Weaknesses: | It would have to be the rims, front hub (experienced grinding noise when turning left at a certain speed), and the lack of gears (16 speed aint enough for me) | | Bike Setup: | Stock | | Bottom Line: | The bike is great for any rider but will little improvements (more gears, stronger rims, and better hubs, and possible more travel on the forks) the GT Chucker 1.0 has great performance and control and is an excellent bike for AU$699 | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$700.00 | | Purchased At: | Fix Cycles | | Strengths: | The bike seems to have a very strong frame which is great considering the small size of the frame, the rims are also very strong and the gears are user friendly. The forks are also quite strong and good. Good freeride bike | | Weaknesses: | The weaknesses would have to be the brakes, they could be better but would be great for the normal user, if alot of pressure is applied to the lever then the brakes work fine, otherwise a bit slow to stop, also the chain region, within 2 days my frame was starting to cut from the chain, poor design but a lizard skin is sure to work, this problem will always cause you to be worried about the bikes condition. Otherwise great. | | Similar Products Used: | Haro 8.2, this bikes alot lighter, the best breaks are on this bike, and awesome forks, thumbs up for the 8.2 | | Bottom Line: | This bikes awesome for the price, improvements could be made to the breaks an tyres, all the rest is awesome | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
