    Favorite Trail:Anich Rd. DH track
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $300.00
    Purchased At:used - Internet - (gay color)bike.com
Strengths:exactly... it's massively strong.... Every gusset and every weld is built for strength. This is the strongest aluminum frame ever made.
Weaknesses:I am the weakest thing on this bike...
The 10 year warranty is not honored for the second owner of the frame but who cares... it's a MORPHINE...! The warranty is second to only SWD bikes lifetime no questions asked warranty...
Similar Products Used:Specialized Big Hit DH, P1, P2, Hard Rock Pro, Banshee Scratch, Norco Bigfoot, Norco 250, Santa Cruz Bullit, Evil Imperial, LeToy 3 and a Trek something or other which was not memorable enough.
Bike Setup:Sherman Firefly, Ringle Singles, Hussefelt bars, stem, cranks, Avid BB7 - All of these parts failed after one year - Presently has Marzocchi 66RC, Atomlab Air Corps, Deity crank, .234 FR racing Bar, Stem combo, 8" Avid Juicy 7's.... Occasionally set up single speed as well....
Bottom Line:This is the one bike to rule them all. I can ride trails, dirt jumps, street, Full on Freeride and Downhill with this frame and I never had issues. I bought this frame second hand and have had no problems with it whatsoever. I have run 24" front and rear, 26" front and rear, 24"-26" combo, Rigid forks, 100mm forks, 170mm forks, Dual Crown forks, and this bike kills it with everything... The horizontal drop outs have allow regular QR and allow you to snug the wheel up as close as you want to the frame to adjust wheelbase and effective chainstay length... (the shorter the easier to manual). If you want a Hardtail frame that can handle anything and everything... This is the bike for you... oh yeah... I'm 250 lbs and I send it off cliffs, rock faces and whatever I can wrap my brain around. The only thing it's not good for is Trials... the present build is at 37lbs. previously at 32lbs. Don't buy this if you are a spandex wearing weight weenie... you want something titanium and have wasted your time reading this.

Strengths:I'm no freerider but I do love hammering technical singletrack and downhill, and this bike is oh so good at it. It wakes up trails which my full suss leaves for dead, and the back end is so responsive going into corners it still freaks me out how good it feels. OK, so that's justs hardtails in general you might say - well yeah, but this bike takes stiffness to a whole new level. The geometry is spot on- the sizing feels just right, and even with a 170mm triple up front, it feels really well balanced. It's really light too - much lighter than it looks.
Weaknesses:The supplied seatpost is too short for going uphill. Only other weakness - in the UK they now call banshees 'mythic' cos of some copyright issue with halfords which is a naff name and has no heritage - buy one from america instead!

Some guy on here claimed he broke one into bits jumping - if that's true, what did Banshee say about the warranty? Even just a quick look at this bike tells you it's hard as nails, and that's without Banshees solid as a rock reputation and warranty, so I question the validity of that one.

If you ride this bike on tough stuff for more than 2 hours your knees will hurt cos its so stiff, but that's pretty obvious.
Similar Products Used:I also have a Santa cruz VPfree and Orange patriot.
Bike Setup:I'm 5ft10/ 70in an have a medium, with a 50mm stem and very wide bars. Manitou stance tripleclamps (got em free and had to take my 66s off - will be getting some 888s for it soon), XT, Hope Mono4s, singletrack/ hope 26in wheels, FSA pig, thompson, WTB.
Bottom Line:This frame is super-stiff. With those massive welds and gussets, it must be the stiffest frame out there. It feels amazing when you're railing berms and really throwing the back end around, and it doesn't want to stay on the ground. Training on this bike reawakens your abilities and I've actually completed some trails on this faster than I can on my patriot because of how well it corners. Or maybe it just feels like that.

Either way, this is an really fun bike, and oh so cheap for that amount of fun. Nothing else comes close.

    Strengths:Beef cake,will take a beatin,dontexpect it to handle a 40ft drop like a FS or a Imperial,Can take long travel forks,better at climbing then a imperial,
Weaknesses:Its square,Feels to short even after trying different setups, will brake with super monsters when going big!
    Similar Products Used:Evil Imperial/Sinister Ridge/Norco Torrent.
    Bike Setup:FOX 40,Sram X9,Hozlfeller cranks,FSA Bars,Blackspire Stem,A-Frame pedals,729's on hope pro2 and hope ti hubs,Clarcks clim8 hydros,thomson post.
Bottom Line:I got the morphine a while ago now and got it for DH at first, but after doing serevrel runs i couldent get use to how sqaure the frame is and it dont have the geo to make you feel comfatable DH like a Imperial has or a FS, and how short it feels even after trying diffrent stems, lengths and diffrent rise, diffrent seats and bars, this was a large by the way as im not a light weight lol, anyway after this i decided it was time to take it hucking and see if it will take the abuse that its designed for.Stuck some Super Monsters on it(300MM)and did some big hucks 25-44ft,I mahsed bug time on this drop i do very oftem which is about 36ft and hit the floor pretty hard and broke my hand and 3 fingers,i checked my monsters they where fine but checked the welds on the morphine and they had ripped apart!!!it dont handle nothing like my Imperial, ive crashed into walls and everythign on my Evil and it has taken it unlike the morphine, the imperial is a far better bike,!!!

Strengths:hmmmm... well thats a real tough question... EVERYTHING! i just can't get enough of this frame. its superior in all aspects of a bike well other then rear suspension (who needs that?)
Weaknesses:well i do have one little problem. the paint chips a bit easy. its easily remidied with the bottle of perfectly matched touch up paint that came with it though
Similar Products Used:well... none maybe the norco manik its kindof the same i guess

Bottom Line:the price i said was in canadian $ and was for the whole bike. this is such a stealth frame. its got the killer red going on. I cant believe how good this frame is. it is like the wheelie master. ok with the seat all the way down(its how i ride) i can still wheelie while sitting. theres no way anybody could break this frame unless your commiting suicide or hacked it for some stupid reason. i could huck anything on this bike and the only thing i would be worried about was me... ya buy it and you will fly it.

Strengths:Most amazing geometry I've ever felt on a hardtail. Huge headtube, huge gussets, and the guys at bashee made it into a package that isnt all that heavy!
Weaknesses:Not very many deraillers fit on a seat tube that size, and there's little clearance for an inner chainguide.
Similar Products Used:only one other hardtail, the oryx DD66
Bike Setup:morphine with supers and a decent freeride spec
Bottom Line:This is the first Banshee bike that I've owned, and it probably wont be my last. Its the only hardtail frame I dont think i'll be able to damage. Its a monster when built up with a super t and 24/26 wheels. Kudos to Banshee bikes!

Strengths:this thing is super duper strong, don't need to ride it to see how apparent it is, brakes have serious pucker power, it is super well balanced, I can put my left foot on the peddle, put the pedal at the bottom of its stroke, put my weight back, and shove down and the forks respond. VERY NICE!! that translates into a very nice manualer/wheelier
Weaknesses:the only problem I have is the shifting needs to be worked on (bought it that way) other then that, there isn't anything wrong with it.

srry bender. I just had to put that in for the bikes sake. haha
