$2800.00 | | Purchased At: | Calgary Cycle | | Strengths: | Strong and rigid, Lifetime Warranty, Looks good, rides well. Comes fairly well spec'd,(except for fork). Two travel positions. | | Weaknesses: | Stock fork, Does not corner as well as I would like. | | Similar Products Used: | Kona Stinky. | | Bike Setup: | Frame set to 180mm travel, Rock Shox Boxxer Team, Truvative Holzfeller Cranks, Syncros DPS32 laced to Ringle demon hubs. | | Bottom Line: | It's a good Intermediate Freeride/downhill bike, Could handle better. It is very fun to ride. If your looking for something that will take the big hits but still handles fairly well, this is the bike for you. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1800.00 | | Purchased At: | second hand | | Strengths: | i love the frame,it's strong, good amount of travel, good weight, awesome for freeride but can do downhill too. and it looks good, lots of frames work well but look like something that came out the back of a cow but when you look at it, you can't help but say "damn that guy's got a nice johnson". | | Weaknesses: | it comes with truvativ Hussefelt cranks, mine came loose, kind of a hassle, but other than that nothing | | Similar Products Used: | it's unique, works like a dream and looks sexy | | Bike Setup: | DHX 3, Marzocchi Shiver (none of that drop off crap), e-13 guide, Kenda Blue Groove tires | | Bottom Line: | awesome bike, i love mine, it just takes whatever jumps or drops you take it off and rips it up on the downhill course. if you are a serious freerider then this is a good bike for you, i would suggest getting new forks, drop offs are ok for a while but they don't stay good, my friend used to have some and they started sticking and leaking after a while. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2300.00 | | Purchased At: | Caps Bikes | | Strengths: | frame compnents exepting the rims | | Weaknesses: | the shock came with a low spring rate so But before it bottomed out it hit the seat and tore it a bit, and the weld frum the frame to the steer tube has a but of a lip in ot. i thought it was a crak..but other than thats NOTHING | | Similar Products Used: | Giant Faith Cannondale Gemini Giant DH Comp | | Bike Setup: | Stock cept the seat and i cut the bars a few inches sorter, they were to big | | Bottom Line: | KIK ASS BIKE! i loves it its really plush, fun to ride, good frame good components extremely fun! i reccomend this bike to anyone who loves to have fun! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from UK Date Reviewed: June 14, 2006 | | Favorite Trail: | cresta run, sierra nevada, spain | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Price Paid: |
$2750.00 | | Purchased At: | Freeborn Cycles, Horsham, UK | | Strengths: | Frame is superb, very strong, great attention to detail and excellent frame specs, including 1.5" headtube 83mm BB shell and 150mm x 12mm bolt through rear axle. The horst link gives superb suspension action. And the Manitou metel does a very good job, especially after i had it custom tuned at tftunedshox. I bought this bike and stripped it to fit my own stuff, so cannot comment on the componetry. | | Weaknesses: | none so far | | Similar Products Used: | Mountain cycle shockwave, intense m1, specialized demo 8, specialized big hit | | Bike Setup: | Medium frame '05 frame with stock parts except... marzocchi dc shivers with mojo kit and direct mount stem, race face diablous cranks, e13 drs, saint brakes, hope bulb hubs with mavic 729 rims, easton ea70 bars and seatpost, michelin comp32 and maxxis high roller dual ply 2.5, wellgo b57 pedals | | Bottom Line: | I've used this bike for downhill, cross country - yes it does go uphill well too. Drops upto 18foot and street. From Scotlands DH tracks, to the French Alps and the Sierra Nevada range in Spain. It takes everything i throw at it in its stride and just begs to be pushed harder. It is a very stable bike when pointed downhill, but is still nimble enough to be thrown around even the tightest singletrack and skinniest shore that I've ridden. Nice frame details like the uninterrupted seatube, massive rear tyre clearance, adjustable travel and wheelbase (for 24" wheels) and replaceble dropouts on both sides. I certainly would get another one of these if i had to choose again. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
