Description:American Classic’s ISIS bottom bracket is light because of the unique split ring design (patent applied). The new and improved split ring and cups support the bearings and keep them in place. The bottom bracket axle is designed to distribute the stress loads applied when riding.

Replaceable stainless steel bearings.

E-type front derailleurs are only compatible with 113mm and 118mm bottom brackets.

  • Length Road: 108mm
  • Weight Road: 140 grams

  • Length Mountain: 113mm and 118mm
  • Weight Mountain: 153 grams and 157 grams

  • Thread: english
  • Bearings: fully sealed stainless steel

    Tools Needed: Truvativ X-Tool or Park BBT-8
    Torque: 25-30 foot lbs each side
    15mm steel crank bolts are not included
    Square Taper Bottom Brackets: still available in limited sizes

    Bottom Line:this bb might be light but the cups creaked,the axel/crank interface was too tight,the bearings were so notchy you could actually count the number of bearings by feel!
    absolutely awful.then after about 6 months,the bearings came off whilst fitting.went straight in bin.most expensive truvative bb tool ever(came supplied with bb)
