$2000.00 | | Purchased At: | Different Bikes | | Strengths: | Light, easy to maneuver thru corners; stock rims very easy to remove & mount tires. comes with bashguard. | | Weaknesses: | Chain keeps falling off coming to a stop; pedals lose pins easily; stock fork / shock had no lock out. front is a bit wobbly sometimes going over skinnies. not really sexy looking. | | Bike Setup: | upgraded brakes to juicy 7's, pedals to wellgo magnesium ones, grips to odi | | Bottom Line: | spec'd really well except for the brakes. geometry was great for a woman who's 5'4. only thing needed to be changed was the stem. excellent cornering ability. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2213.00 | | Purchased At: | Joe Mamma, Ottawa Ontario Canada | | Strengths: | Excellent climber, excellent warranty, good components, nice travel | | Weaknesses: | No waterbottle cage mount, some components not as high end as I would like | | Similar Products Used: | Not applicable | | Bike Setup: | Upgraded shifters to Sram X9 gripshift and rear derailleur to X9 | | Bottom Line: | This bike is a huge upgrade from my old Rocky hardtail. I can climb like there is not tomorrow and it can handle XC as well as downhill with no trouble. I was worried after riding a hardtail for 15 years that a full suspension would be harder to pedal but the geometry on this bike is great and I don't notice any bob at all. I did upgrade the shifters to gripshift and the rear derailleur but the rest of the bike is stock and I am loving it. The only thing missing is a place to mount a waterbottle cage. I would recommend this bike to anybody that wants a all-mountain bike for use on XC trails and downhills. I would have no problem riding this bike on the Northshore in Vancouver or on flat doubletrack race courses. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
