Strengths:Great bike. I just picked the Q620 up last week. I love everything about this bike. Rock Schoks, disc brakes, and the shifters are great too.
Weaknesses:none to report
Similar Products Used:Giant XTC i think
Bike Setup:stock, with different bike seat
Bottom Line:BUY ONE, this is the best value out there for the money. You dont know what you are missing. If you are just starting, this is a great bike, you can even add upgrades with ease.

Favorite Trail:The Piranaha Pit (if it is still around)
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $600.00
Purchased At:Fast Track Bicycle and Run
Strengths:Extremly responsive. Great looking bike. Excellent upgrade opportunity. Good for the $ though.
Weaknesses:No complaints as of yet. Great bike for the $.
Similar Products Used:Cannondale F500, Trek 6000.
Bike Setup:I just bought it the other day, but I was looking for a good base to build off of. I just got the M770 crankset(not installed yet) and the XT shadow rear and XT front derailleur. Other than that everything else is stock. Felt came with some pretty nice components of thier own on this one. We will see how they all work out.
Bottom Line:For now, I couldn't be happier. Great bike for a great price. I am no super-athlete, but it has left me with a good feeling about purchasing it. I did do quite a bit of research as to what is out there as well. This one caught my eye, any I am glad it did. I am looking to build mine up a bit, but I think it is a great overall entry level rec. bike, with the potential to be so much more. The most responsive frame I have ever been on.

Date Reviewed: May 13, 2008
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $600.00
Purchased At:dallas bike works
Strengths:Strong frame, Double walled tires, looks great, decent fork, disc brakes
Weaknesses:havent found one yet
Similar Products Used:trek 820, giant Rincon
Bike Setup:stock except crankbro pedals.
Bottom Line:I love this bike I searched for weeks before buying this bike because I wanted to get the best one for my money. I am very happy with my decision. I did have to drive 3 hours but it was well worth it. I have taken it on many trails 2 times a week for over a month now and have had many drops on concrete and dirt and it is still going strong. Only problem I have had is a flat tire here and there, but that is expected. I recommend buying if you don't want to spend to much money but you want a lot of bang for your buck.

Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $600.00
Purchased At:local shop
Strengths:really nice hard tail for money
Weaknesses:did not like the stock platform pedals, no problems with them, I just did not like them
Bike Setup:Stock, changed out the pedals for some wellgo dual clipless/platform pedals
Bottom Line:I really like the bike. I could not afford a full suspension bike so I found this to be one of the better feeling hard tails for the money. Very comfortable ride, everyting on it works well and it handles well on the trails that I have ridden it on.

Date Reviewed: October 12, 2007
Favorite Trail:W&OD, Fountainhead Regional
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $450.00
Strengths:Has all the desired components of more expensive bikes - disc brakes, rock shox, maxxis tires. Hydroform top tube frame, solidly built and light.
Weaknesses:none yet
Similar Products Used:Kona Fire Mountain, Giant Boulder SE, Specialized HardRock Comp Disc, Cannondale F5
Bike Setup:stock plus bike computer and water bottle holder.
Bottom Line:Could not find any reason not to like this bike other than the fact that the others that I tested had better-known names. The Felt had comparable components and excellent value for the price paid for it. I also like the bike's sporty shade of red!

Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $600.00
Strengths:Bike has many features in it's price range. Solid braking and precise rear shifting.
Weaknesses:I found the front derailer to shift poorly. I stretched the chain out in 2 months of riding.
Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:Probably a good entry level bike but would not recommend it for more advanced riders that will ride trail hard.

Purchased At:Summit Cycles
Strengths:extremely strong, light weight frame. great components for the price (shimano deore, rock shox dart 1, shimano disc).
Weaknesses:none
Similar Products Used:trek 6700

Bottom Line:this bike is a great choice for someone who wants to get a kick ass bike for under $600. there is no difference in the frame for the Q720 or Q920. with the higher models you get a little better componets like hydraulic brakes but this bike is perfect to upgrade. i looked for bikes for a long time and this one gives me the most bang for my buck. all around great bike.
