Pretty sweet feel, rolls over most everything small, but it is 29er.
Like Rain Man mentioned in his review it tends to have a cracking sound at times. I try to check my headset when it happens but I think it might be a nature of the beast. No damage or breaking down yet.
I think this fork is gaining popularity, some friends have mentioned they like this fork better than the Ibex overall.

This was a good fork and I was happy with it. However, recently I noticed a "cracking" sound coming from the fork when riding it. I removed it from the bike and examined it closely. There seems to be a breakdown in the bonding between the carbon legs and the crown. Pace aren't interested in looking at it to see why it is breaking down in order to improve their product.
For this reason, I can NOT recommend that you buy one of these forks. If the thing breaks as you are riding down a steep hill at speed, you are really going to get hurt, badly.
There are other, better options available on the market.

It worked equally well on both bikes. The damping effect of carbon is readily apparent, it takes some of the 'buzz' out of constant smaller ripples in the road and on the trail. It felt 'softer' than the Niner rigid fork, and quickened up the steering slightly.
But .... the best thing about this fork is the light weight! It makes lofting the front end over obstacles a breeze. The steering is very direct, no slop, you go where you point it, and there is no brake dive at all. It flexes under brakes over ripples, you can see the legs moving backwards and forwards as the carbon legs absorb the braking forces and bumps.
This is a very well made and constructed product. The workmanship is good, the finish is a clearcoat over the weave and it looks great. Pace have a great reputation with carbon forks, so the product is already proven, unlike some other carbon forks that have recently become available.
One thing that stood out ... the keeper tabs on the drop-outs. This makes it harder to get the wheel in and out of the fork, but it also makes it waaay harder for your front wheel to drop out of the fork if you somehow forget to tighten the QR properly. A nice safety measure, and indicative of the forward-thinking that Pace employs.
The ONLY downside to this fork is the fragility of the carbon, which applies equally to all other carbon forks as well. If you hit this fork hard enough to notch or damage the carbon, then it *may* fail catastrophically under brakes or similiar pressure without warning.
However, in several months of riding it with quite a few crashes, I have yet to see any damage to the fork.
So ..... the bottom line?
A great fork, well made and well designed that enhances the dampening effect we rigid riders all look for in a front end. This is a very nice fork.

Steerer seems to be very very slightly undersized. My Syntace stem cannot hold the fork well enough to keep from sliding after a couple rides. Requires the stem cap to also tension.

XTR/Boone running 29x18 SS | | Bottom Line: | At 465mm, it rides lower, and better to me, than the Niner. It weighs 760g cut to 175mm, and saved me 300g over the Niner fork. I wanted the sharpen the steering on my frame, so this was perfect. It is more compliant than the Niner steel fork, as well as taking out the buzz (as only carbon can).
Keep in mind this is a 465 AC, and will change your bike's handling. A Reba 80mm is 488, the Reba 100 is 508. Every 20mm is 1 degree in head angle, which is a big change in handling.
