Strengths:I have a gold edition from a Kona Bass, looks crazy. The traveling is nice, you able to play with the air preasure.Rebound works perfectly.
Weaknesses:The end of the leg is not the best. Can anybody tell me what is the sound when i push down the fork? It makes me nerveus...

    Favorite Trail:dirt jumps
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $380.00
    Purchased At:www.chainreactioncycles.com
Strengths:Great looks (white legs, black staunchions and crown) and superior finish. The white legs look super polished, especially at night under lights. Very strong and stiff fork, perfect for dj's and street riding. The air pressure preload / compression is easy to use and the rebound adjust works very well. The response to rebound adjustments is excellent - you can really feel the difference with just a few clicks. Easy to dial in, "set and forget".
Weaknesses:None noted. Even the stickers now actually stay on and look super cool - with a big busted angel woman! Woo Hoo!
    Similar Products Used:Argyles, Shermans & DJ 3's.
Bike Setup:I have them on a Dobermann Pinscher with blackspire downhill headset, clamped with a Da Bomb Glock stem with DMR Wingbars. The cockpit and feel of the forks is just soooo sweet.
Bottom Line:If you want strong, sexy, easy to tune forks for street or dirt jumps - these are the go. I highly recommend them.

    Date Reviewed: December 11, 2007
    Favorite Trail:007
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $379.00
    Purchased At:www.jensonusa.com
Strengths:Stiffness, easily adjustable, looks, weight, plushness.
Weaknesses:Marz went a funky direction with the fork decals this year, but they are ok.
    Similar Products Used:Dirt jumper 2 and 3, Argyle 409
    Bike Setup:Santa Cruz Jackal
Bottom Line:This fork is perfect for Dirt Jumping, and Urban riding. The rebound adjust is very responsive, and you can tell the difference when you rotate the knob. The air preload, like all other Marz forks will drastically stiffen up the compression. I found my sweet spot at about 10 lbs of pressure in the preload. The seals clear dirt like a champ, and I am in the dirt ALL of the time with this fork. I tried a Jackal with an Argyle, and it was ok, but I couldn't justify paying that much for a fork when the dj1 performs almost identically. I've had horrible luck with Rock Shox in the past, and nothing but goodness with Marz.
