    Strengths:Generally very well vented gloves.
Weaknesses:No towel sweat wipe so not a big fan.I end up using the rough ass padding to wipe sweat of my brow. No very pleasant and I am not really sure why it is missing!!!???

Strengths:Well these gloves are bombin'. They are like totally perfect. Mine are red/white, and look sweet. I like the silicone coating for extra grip
Weaknesses:Well the leather on them is only synthetic and, on my pair, white. But that's about it..

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $25.00
    Purchased At:Campmor.com
    Strengths:Comfortable, padding, enhanced grip.
Weaknesses:I wish they breathed a bit more, but they don't cook my hands.
    Similar Products Used:Mechanics gloves
    Bike Setup:N/A
Bottom Line:These are good gloves. The padding on the palm is nice and thick. They fit a little snug (which I like, they're not so tight they restrict bloodflow) and I feel like I can control the bike a little better as opposed to riding bare handed. I do wish they hand some more venting, but they're not terribly hot (keep in mind, I'm in the humid southeast). Overall, I think they feel good, and look good (black/grey like all of my gear) :)

Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
    Price Paid: $20.00
    Purchased At:Fox Racing - www.foxracing.ca
    Strengths:A Fox product so everything.
    Weaknesses:None.
Similar Products Used:Answer Stylus Gloves (the red ones pictured in Answer Gloves) 1997, Troy Lee Design SE Gloves (grey) 2002, Fox Racing Sidewinder (black) 2002.
Bike Setup:2001 Trek Fuel 90 Disk
Bottom Line:I ordered these 2002 racing model gloves in grey back in 2003 online at www.foxracing.ca. At the same time I ordered a pair of 2002 Racing Sidewinders in black. They were on clearance at $20/pair, so I puchased 2 pairs, 1 jersey & 1 pair of shorts to justify the shipping cost. I've only ever put these gloves on one time to test them out. I still have them in mint condition waiting for my 2002 Fox Racing Sidewinders to fall apart befroe I switch to them.
Bottom Line: Five years after being made, four years in my closet & by 2010 they may see the light of day!

    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $25.00
    Purchased At:LBS
    Strengths:Good vent, durable good grip.,
Weaknesses:THE SMELL! These gloves develop a stench that reminds me of the practice jersey that I left in my locker for a week during football camp. I think I ended up burning the thing and it still would not die.
Similar Products Used:these are my first full-finger gloves.
Bottom Line:I bought these gloves because I find myself grabbing trees once in a while and, since I play drums for a living, it is important for me to prtect my fingers. These do the job very well. I have been using them for a year and they look almost new even though I have crashed too many times to count. Don't know how to get rid of the smell, though.

Strengths:Excellent fit, comfortable, adequate padding, good price
    Weaknesses:None so far
Similar Products Used:Fox Tahoe, Specialized Team XC Long
    Bike Setup:Specialized Stumpjumper
Bottom Line:I used the half-finger Tahoe gloves for several years and finally decided to switch to full-finger gloves. I first tried the Team XC Long gloves but didn't like them for two reasons: not enough padding in the palm and no wrist velcro strap. I just couldn't get them to fit right.

I looked some more and ended up with the Fox Digit. They have a double layer of material in the palm and the fit is nice and snug. I haven't gotten any hot spots from my hands rubbing around, as I did with the Team XCs. They look fairly low key as well (no neon colors) and the price is right. So far I'm very satisfied.

    Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Decent ventilation when going fast, look cool, great glove overall
Weaknesses:SMELL BAD! I have washed these daggumed things so many times, and besides the rubber on the knuckles starting to come off, they stink like Sex Panther from Anchorman. I mean some serious stank. Maybe it's me, but damn.
Similar Products Used:I use only fox
    Bike Setup:n/a
Bottom Line:Great glove, if it weren't for that smell. I mean, I know that you're supposed to wash them, and take care of them. Problem is, is even when I do wash them, the smell isn't ever completely gone, and it gets worse the next time I wear them. It's a shame, too, cuz the gloves kick some serious a$$ otherwise. Well, I had the 2004s. Maybe the 05s I'm going to buy tomorrow will be different.

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $25.00
    Purchased At:Higher Ground
Strengths:Full-finger design protects from grinding hands down to the bone.
Weaknesses:Mediocre ventilation, starting to come apart
    Similar Products Used:none
Bike Setup:Specialized Hardrock Comp, Candy C pedals, stock otherwise
Bottom Line:It's a decent glove. I am a beginner, and wanted something with plenty of protection, because I was expecting the spills. Well, I didn't take that many spills. As a matter of fact, after about 3 months of riding, I managed to avoid landing on my hands. That will yet come, and for that I am grateful I have these gloves. However, even with gentle use, and no landings on the palms, the seams are starting to come apart in a couple of spots. Pretty crappy, I must say! Hands don't stay dry, but for a full glove in FL heat it is a lot to ask. Either way, I will keep on using it, but next time will try out other options before settling on this glove again.

    Purchased At:Whistler, Vancouver, Canada
Strengths:Underside of gloves designed to take a beating. Neoprene allows ventilation somewhat...fits very nicely and tight.
they also don't get in the way of easy tasks. GREAT protection.
    Weaknesses:mediocre ventilation
    Bike Setup:Trek, Kona
Bottom Line:some think the ventilation is poor..but if you needed ventilation that bad, just take your gloves off for a few seconds...These gloves have saved my hands and palms from turning into raw-meat many a time, and the underside is still intact(double-layered on palm) after about 10 good accidents where I was able to land hands first.
    ideal for more rough situations...

    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $29.00
    Purchased At:Rocky Mountain Cycle
Strengths:They are very lightweight and provide a lot of air circulation. I haven't landed on them yet but I would imagine their stiff enough to prevent major scuffing. Not to mention that the neon/white trim looks beautiful, especially on the black pair.
Weaknesses:I have noticed that they seem to be softening up a bit in the fingertips. However I believe this is probably normal and won't effect the lifetime of the gloves. Also the great circulation makes riding in the rain a little cold. Then again if you’re like me you don't care.
Similar Products Used:I've never used 'real' biking gloves before.
    Bike Setup:Irrelevant.
Bottom Line:These gloves would be perfect for you if you ride fast and efficiently. Due to their lack of thickness I wouldn't want them for monster drops or tricks but if you are a beginner/average rider these gloves will probably be perfect for you. If you’re more advanced I would probably get something like the Fox Sidewinders. Bottom line is that they are built for speed (BMX, downhill, X-Country etc).

Bike Setup:couple wheels and pedals and seat and other things
Bottom Line:I've been using these gloves now for 2 years, same pair. No signs of a hole anywhere in them, and surprisingly breathe well for full finger gloves. I wqas abit concerned about the full fingers at first because of being too hot, but they are perfect. I don't know if the two peoplethat had bad experience with them had a bad lot, but mine are still mint condition. Once these wear out, I will get anothr pair identical.

    Purchased At:Sporting LIfe Bikes Toronto
    Strengths:Cool looks thats all
Weaknesses:The gloves construction sucks after 45 minutes of riding the stiches that pop up the material inside the glove tend to leave marks on different places of your hands, the gloves are not very breathable my hands were all white and mushey, they swell up yor viens (I've seen my vien above my right knucle a bit blue i though it was the colour of the glove fading but it was not). Bad glove to wear for a long period of time and poor inner construction.
Similar Products Used:None first fox product was a dissapointment
Bottom Line:I went for the size that perfectly fit my hands therefore the gloves perfromed poorly. I did not want to take home a medium (I tested a small) because I was afraid of getting the same poor results. If you do get theses gloves go one size bigger than what you hand size really is. Even better don't buy these gloves because everyone says the sidewinder glove is better. Plus the glove is expensive $50 Canadian so value is bad and by what I said my overall rating is obvious.

The plus I don't get blisters or callouses on my hand. See my review on the Specialized Body Geometry DH, which gave me blisters the size of Golf Balls.
