3T Doric LTD Seatpost

DESCRIPTION

Looking from afar, the main difference between the 3T Doric Limited seatpost and the Team is color. The Limited has a Silver stripe over clear-coat carbon, the Team Red. That's all you're supposed to see. Both posts share the same strong, light, and shock-absorbent carbon-fiber shaft. The difference is at the top. What architecture students call the capital and 3T engineers call the carrier is the heart of the difference. The Doric Limited head is built from carbon fiber while the Team head is made from aluminum. In addition, the Doric LTD has titanium bolts where the Team has steel. Picking the posts up, you'll feel the difference even if you don't see it. These seemingly small differences amount to an 11% reduction in weight. Or, from an impressively light post to a ridiculously light post. We can't recall seeing a lighter mainstream post on the market. The Doric Limited is a zero setback post with a two-bolt clamp. The clamp is great for micro-adjusting your seat post; if you use a level to get your saddle angle right, having two bolts to fine-tune the angle makes things really easy. It is available in 27.2mm and 31.6mm diameters.
