Strong, lightweight, ambidextrous, includes barrel adjuster, and feels good under my finger.
Barrel adjuster is red. The added color throws off my feng shui.
I use this in conjunction with Avid BB7s and my bike brakes on a dime. When I first test rode my current bicycle, I knew immediately I did not like the feel of the stock levers. My first ride after purchasing the bike with these installed was heaven on earth. Either lever can be used for front or rear brakes.
They feel so natural under my braking finger, I have developed a bad habit of constantly covering the brake while riding.

light weight, well made, adjustability, ease of installation
none so far
A must have addition to your bike if you have disc brakes.
Super smooth pull and you can set them up especially for your riding style. Speed dial adjustment works very well. The brushed silver finish looks great too. Instructions for installation and set up are outstanding.

Light, Standard (Solid) Avid Feel, Adjustment
Slight Play in levers
Using these on the cross country ride and have no complaints with 'em. Similar to most of the Avid line with the Speed Dial, same lever shape, but a lighter perch for the levers. I liked the feel of the other Avid brake levers I've used in the past, and could not justify the extra cash for the Ultimate Brake Levers.
Part of a build that I don't think about when riding, one of the best things I can think of. A pretty cheap and pretty light option for cable brakes.
They were easy to setup, easy to install, have not moved when they were not supposed to, the brakes levers feel - well - like brake levers. Just a minor knock for the slight vertical play in the lever. Can't detect it when riding, but just knowing that it's still there.

Super light weight, leverage adjustment knobs, clean-looking silver finish, ability to replace just the blade if it gets broken, seems stronger than my previous FR5 levers which broke.
High MSRP, but thats what eBay is for.
These are muuuchh nicer brake levers than my previous FR5 levers. They feel more solid with no play in the lever. The adjustment knob allows me to control how sensitive my brakes are and fine tune the kind of modulation I like. I also noticed that the levers feel beefier than the FR5s although they look very similar. I'm not a weight weenie but they went for cheap on eBay where I was originally looking for the SD7s. If I had to pay MSRP I would go for the SD7s as the MSRP for these is not worth the weight savings. I give these brakes 5 out of 5 flamin turd nuggets.
