Kalloy makes about 1/2 of the world's components. They are also one of the four frame manufacturer's on the planet. Besides custom builder's, the guys who make frames are, Kalloy, Kinesis, KHS, and Giant. So unles you went custom, or bought a frame or components that you know for a fact are house names more than like ly one of these guys made them. Kalloy like I said makes about 1/2 of the world's components, such as seatposts, stems, bars, and bar ends. Sorry guys but unless you go Easton, Litespeed, Merlin or something like that, for above mentined products chances are you bought a Kalloy product. So like Denim Jeans such as Levi's or Hilfiger, you just bought a name.
So buying Kalloy does not mean you got a cheap product, you just bought a product for a lower price that does not say, Kore, or Control Tech, get it?

These are great for starting out and getting into XC.
If you want to get better and more professional go for the Easton EA-70s monkey bar.

Light (around 150g)
Gets the job done

Weakness:

The light grey finish is durable (I only managed to nick it by slamming into a stone wall). It also matches perfectly with my Bontrager stem. I don't have to worry about my handlebar while riding. Get it if you don't mind a bar that's as light as most any at a fraction of the cost.

I have used this product bar line on numerous bikes over many years -- has always performed well-- good to superior in relation to other more expensive higher profile names. This is a good product. Other than ego there is no need for any one to purchase a more expensive product.

Strength:

VERY SHEAP! VERY LIGHT! VERY STIFF AND STRONG (TUFF)!!!

Weakness:

NONE. MAYBE,its to weak for Downhill/extreme but for all other activities is OK!

HEY! Looking for a VERY CHEAP handlebar that is light and strong ? There is only one such product in the world ,and that is Kalloy UNO!!! Its an amzing product. It only cost around a third of most other handlebars(!!!!!),dispite that, its one of the stiffest, and lightest ( 160 g apr.),
handlebars around!

Why? Its becorse UNo is made of extremly hard aluminium alloy and is produyced is a huge series, and therfore it can be thin and light and stiff, and very cheap at the same time!!! If your not a "weight-weenie" and need a handle bar lighter than 150 g , I recommend UNO, there is no need to look further...

UNO Rocks*******************LOW COST **HIGH QUALITY******

Strength:

The weight is reasonable. Very tough.

Weakness:

The finish will scratch over time... ha ha ha, duh.

The one I bought years ago was under the name Avenier, but there is a stamp on the end of the bar that says Kalloy Uno right on it.

It is 175grams and was purchased in the late 90's for my older XC bike. I recently replaced the bike and this handlebar is now on my Jekell.

For a "straight" handlebar, these are just as good as anything out there at a very reasonable price. It is great.
